What are A Second Opinion’s credentials?
|
A Second Opinion founder Monty Arnhold is the mastermind behind many famous and effective ad campaigns and commercials. He has over 30 years of ad agency experience as both a Copywriter and Creative Director with a range of advertising agencies in Australia and across the world.
From the solid but creatively unremarkable multinationals such as the now defunct 70's powerhouse D'arcy MacManus & Masius, McCann Erickson and Young & Rubicam through to the uber-sexy Saatchi & Saatchi in both London and Sydney and The Campaign Palace in its revered heyday. And many others in between.
He held Creative Director positions firstly at age 26, then again at 41 and finally at 53, but has always been involved at the coalface in the task of creating advertising, not just commenting on it.

When not employed by the various agencies that appear on his curriculum vitae, Monty operated a freelance consultancy known by the name My Only Overhead Is My Brain, which took him inside numerous other well-known agencies.
He has contributed comment and critique pieces for advertising trade publications B&T, AdNews and Campaign Brief.
He currently has a weekly opinion piece in the on-line Media and Marketing section of The Australian newspaper.
In his previous life, Monty was honoured with awards in every media category - television, newspaper, magazine, poster and radio, from Australia's own AWARD to the world's most respected accolade, the International Advertising Festival at Cannes.
Perhaps of greater interest to advertisers considering seeking A Second Opinion's counsel was the awarding of the Advertising Federation of Australia's Effectiveness Award in 1993.
It's one of a number of interesting case histories you can read about on the Case Histories page.
